Cooper AST II

What do you think about these tires? On the desert they are not bad, as for rocky terrain they have skid a bit for me. They are pretty light in weight so no power loss

the only experience that i have for cooper tires was on some winter tires (cooper weather master st II) that i owned 4 years ago.

Surelly i can say that cooper tires(generally)are exellent tires.
I saw your videos and i believe that you need something with bigger-greater grip...especially in river and mud conditions and also in sand.
why dont you look also about cooper discoverer ST?

Wanted to get STT but I couldn't find a proper size. Whats the max size a new GV can take (all terrain tires that is)?

Aren't STTs heavy though?

ST is almost All terain tire. Stt is a Mud terain tire.

One friend of mine has tire size 245/70/17 but with 2"rocky road suspension.

also i think that with MAD springs(5 cm lift)you can fit these tires.
otherwise you need 16"wheels instead of 17"weels.

love those tires, still have them on my wife's Toyota Fortuner. They live for long.

Right now I won't change my tires, they are still new so it will be a waste of money

Also consider Moe that Mud terrain tires could not be very eficient in sand becuse they use to "dig" if traction is lost
